President of Estonia to visit Finland

 

President of Estonia Toomas Hendrik Ilves will make a working visit to Finland on 17 October 2011.

President of the Republic of Finland Tarja Halonen will hold bilateral discussions with President Ilves and host a luncheon at the Presidential Palace. President Ilves will also visit the Finnish Parliament and meet Prime Minister Jyrki Katainen and Minister for Foreign Affairs Erkki Tuomioja.

President Ilves commenced his second term as the President of Estonia on 10 October 2011. During his first term he made a state visit to Finland in spring 2007 as well as several working visits.
